Another brick in the wall...

Who doesn't remember the chorus vocals "we don't need no education..." in the Pink Floyd song "Another brick in the wall" which became an anthem within itself? It seems that the group of kids who formed the chorus now have lodged a claim for unpaid royalties.

The chorus came from a school in Islington, England, and was chosen because it was close to the studio. It was made up of 23 kids between the ages of 13 and 15. They were overdubbed 12 times, making it sound like there were many more kids.

Google (GOOG) came out with a search engine to search research articles in journals, called Google Scholar. Now, this should be interesting. I wonder, if Yahoo and MSN ever thought about it.

'Sears-Mart' or 'K-Sears'?

Kmart Buying Sears in $11 Billion Deal. It, surely, took the industry by surprise. It would be very interesting to know the intent of this sale, and how would they manage this newly created third-largest retailer in U.S. and how would it fare.
